What is a TechLiner ? The TechLiner is a detection system that makes it possible to locate holes, even of very small The TechLiner is made of: How does it works ? A liner is a plastic film which is an excellent electrical insulator. In a normal situation, there should be no electric connection between water and ground as the liner is inserted between them. If the liner is pierced, a weak current will be able to slightly pass through even a very small hole. The detector works by measuring the electric currents in the swimming pool, which intensify near the leak. How to use it ? Install the sensor at the end of the pole of the swimming pool brushes, and pass it along the the surface of the liner while listening to the signal. When the sensor passes over the leak, the rythm of the signal changes, and it is possible to very precisely locate the hole. |
